Does it feel like an oven outside? Are your peaches about to ripen at the same time? We have just the recipe summer needs: this Frozen Peach Daiquiri!
This refreshing, Naturally sweetIt’s very easy to prepare a drink that only tastes tropical 5 minutes with 5 ingredients. Bonus? It works beautifully with or without alcohol. The choice is yours, friend! Let’s get mashup!

How to make a peach daiquiri
Preparing a frozen peach daiquiri couldn’t be easier (or more satisfying to drink 😉)! Simply blend frozen peaches and pineapple with lemon juice, mint leaves, ice, water, sweetener, and light (white) rum.
After blending, the texture will be thick and creamy like Slushy! If it is too thick, you can simply leave it for a few minutes until it melts a little. If it’s too thin, you can add more frozen fruit or ice to thicken the daiquiri, but avoid adding too much ice as it will dilute the flavour!
And that’s it – your daiquiri is ready to serve! For a festive touch, we like to serve the cocktail in cute cocktail glasses with a slice of fresh peach or pineapple, a lemon wedge, and a cocktail umbrella. Total vacation vibe!

Recipe questions and substitutions
What is a daiquiri?
A daiquiri is a type of cocktail He believes It originated in Cuba, but the exact origin story is controversial. The original drink was made by combining Cuban white rum, fresh lime juice and sugar, then shaken with ice and straining into chilled cocktail glasses.
Over time, the drink’s popularity spread, and eventually frozen and fruity variations of the drink appeared.
What is light (white) rum?
While dark rum has a rich taste due to its age in barrels, light (white) rum is lighter in color and flavour. Light (white) rum is also fruitier, making it better suited for daiquiris!
Want to make a non-alcoholic (virgin) daiquiri?
Just leave out the rum and add more water instead! The non-alcoholic version is equally delicious and perfect for sharing with kids or anyone who doesn’t drink alcohol.
Can I use fresh peaches?
Yes! We recommend using fresh peaches to ensure your daiquiri has the best flavour. However, you will need to freeze the peaches before preparing your drink to get the daiquiri texture. Choose peaches at the peak of ripeness – aromatic and slightly soft when gently pressed. Then slice the peaches and freeze them on a tray or baking dish (lined with silicone or parchment) in a single layer.
Do I need to peel peaches?
There’s no need to peel the peaches! We didn’t find the texture of the peel distracting, it makes the drink a nice peach colour, and not having to peel the peaches saves time. Plus, we’ll take any opportunity to get more Fiber!
What can I use instead of pineapple?
Pineapple adds sweetness and creates a creamy texture. Frozen mango is delicious too, but it covers up the peach flavor a bit and the texture will be less daiquiri-like (think creamy, not icy)!
What can I use instead of maple syrup?
(Pure) maple syrup stays naturally sweet, mixes easily, and adds no maple flavour. Another liquid sweetener, such as agave, may also be effective! If you want to use a granulated sweetener such as cane sugar, it is best to dissolve it in water before adding it to the blender.
Can I make daiquiris ahead of time?
It is best to prepare daiquiris just before serving as they will melt and lose their icy texture. If you mix more than you want to consume at one time, you can freeze any extra in a popsicle mold. Then enjoy it as a popsicle, or remix it with a little extra water, pineapple juice, or even coconut water.

Best when fresh. If there are any leftovers (we doubt it!), we suggest freezing them in a popsicle mold.
*For best color and flavour, we highly recommend freezing fresh fruit at peak ripeness. The peaches should be aromatic and slightly soft to the touch. The pineapple should be flavorful and light yellow (not pale). To freeze, cut peaches (unpeeled) into 1/2-inch slices and pineapple into ~1 ½inch cut. Place the fruit on a silicone-lined plate, parchment, or baking tray in a single layer. Place in the freezer until completely frozen (about 4-6 hours), then transfer to an airtight container until use. If necessary, store-bought frozen fruit will work, but we found that the peach flavor was not as noticeable, the pineapple was more tart, and the color was more yellow.
*Nutrition information is a rough estimate calculated with less maple syrup and no optional rum.
