Well…mostly.

I love finding ways to enjoy sweets Healthy ways. Like with these Coconut bites Or these Pancakes Or this is delicious Burger. This is good (healthy)!
And unfortunately, like turning an oatmeal raisin muffin into a protein shake.
Because why on earth wouldn’t you want an oatmeal raisin cookie protein shake, am I right? amazing.
In fact, that’s one of the best things about making your own Protein shake Because you can choose all kinds of creative flavors and make them all healthy.

Since a real oatmeal raisin cake would be filled with a lot of processed sugar, butter (hello: saturated fat!), refined and processed flour, and maybe even other types of badness, I’d choose the option that’s full of lean protein, dietary fiber, and healthy unsaturated fats. Thank you very much.
How to make vegan oatmeal raisin cookies
Want to know how to make it dairy-free and/or vegan? basic. It’s all about what type of protein powder and milk to use.
In this case, simply replace the vanilla protein powder with a plant-based option, such as soy or hemp protein powder. Brown rice protein powder is another great option and one of my personal favorites, because it’s high in fiber, gluten and lactose-free, and packed with B vitamins. Brown rice protein is also easy to digest and less likely to cause allergic reactions. This recipe already uses almond milk, so you’re good to go.
The way I see it: Follow A Healthy lifestyle It’s all about making those healthier, more positive choices step by step, day by day. Ultimately, it adds up to something great and you can see how far you’ve come.

On all of us Start somewhereright? Why not start with a delicious protein shake Tastes Like a cookie is all I’m saying…

equipment
-
Vitamix
-
Glass mason jars
-
Reusable covers
ingredients
- 1 cup Unsweetened almond milk
- ½ banana
- ⅓ cup Old-fashioned oats
- 1 ½ Shovels Vanilla protein powder
- 1 tablespoon Raisins
- ½ teaspoon Ground cinnamon
- Ice
directions
-
Add unsweetened almond milk, banana, old-fashioned oats, vanilla protein powder, raisins, ground cinnamon, and ice to a bowl. Mixer. (I find that starting with almond milk makes the job much easier on the blender.)
-
Now, blend until the mixture is completely smooth. It should take about 30 seconds or so, depending on your blender. Since we added raisins and uncooked oats, it may take a little longer than you might think for them to be completely mashed.
-
At this point, check the consistency of the shake. If you want it thicker, you can add more ice, or if you want it a little thinner, you can add more almond milk.
